Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join one of our US-based clients and handle general ledger tasks, assist in financial statement preparation, support accounts payable and receivable, ensure GAAP compliance, and participate in special projects. The ideal candidate needs at least 3 years of accounting or finance experience, a CPA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and inquiries.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• CPA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
