Role Overview

We are seeking an Accountant for one of our US-based clients in the finance industry. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience, US GAAP knowledge, and intermediate Excel skills. Quickbooks Online experience (2+ years) is required, along with payroll knowledge. Bonus for customer focus, A/R and A/P experience, expense management, and SaaS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close processes and documentation.
• Drive documentation for processes and process improvement for month-end and reporting.
• Support revenue recognition processes.
• Create understandable and usable financial statements.
• May support invoicing (AR) and transaction coding (AP).
• Take ownership of processes around month-end close to documenting, automating, and improving.

Requirements

• +5 years of experience
• US GAAP knowledge and Financial reporting expertise.
• ​​​​​​​+2 years of experience using Quickbooks Online. 
• ​​​​​​​Payroll Knowledge
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Project management capabilities and proactive communication skills.
• Comfort with testing, learning, and implementing new technologies.
