We are seeking a Director of Marketing Data Analysis with expertise in Amazon Redshift, Matillion, and Amazon QuickSight to join our dynamic team. This nearshore, director-level position will play a pivotal role in managing our data warehouse and translating data from various marketing platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google AdWords, Facebook, and Amazon into actionable insights. The primary responsibility will be to build, maintain, and optimize reporting for all marketing efforts, driving the decision-making process for our marketing strategies.
Lead the management and optimization of our data warehouse, primarily utilizing Amazon Redshift, to support extensive marketing data analysis.
Implement and oversee ETL processes using Matillion to integrate data from diverse sources into a coherent data warehouse structure.
Develop, customize, and manage advanced reporting and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight to visualize marketing metrics and KPIs effectively.
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to identify analytics needs, providing insights that support campaign optimization and new marketing initiatives.
Ensure seamless data integration from digital marketing platforms, including GA4, Google AdWords, Facebook, Amazon, etc., maintaining high data quality standards.
Utilize advanced data analysis to guide marketing budget allocation and improve return on investment.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in marketing analytics, data warehousing, and BI tools to maintain a competitive edge.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Significant experience in a senior data analysis role with a specialization in marketing analytics.
Demonstrated expertise in managing Amazon Redshift data warehouses and conducting ETL processes with Matillion.
Proficient in creating dynamic reports and dashboards with Amazon QuickSight.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL processes.
Proven ability to derive marketing insights from data and effectively communicate these insights to drive strategy.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Previous experience in a director-level role, with exposure to ecommerce or a similar industry.
Documented success in enhancing marketing ROI through sophisticated data analytics.
Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing and BI tools, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
