The Public Relations Manager reports to the VP of PR & Communications and executes a wide variety of public relations initiatives that effectively promote the organization, executive team, corporate and franchise offices, agents, listings and new development projects to the company’s core audience of clients, prospective clients, agents, prospective agents, developers, vendors, and the community.
Assist the VP of PR & Communications and Public Relations Director in creating
and implementing unique press strategies to elevate the brand and set the
company apart from its competitors
Assist the VP of PR & Communications and Public Relations Director in the
creation of individual public relations strategies for executives, agents, listings,
offices etc
Create and maintain relationships with top tier journalists
Secure top tier media coverage for executives, agents, listings, offices etc
Secure strategic speaking and panel opportunities for executives and agents
Secure opportunities for executives, agents, listings, offices etc on new media
platforms including notable Podcasts, YouTube channels, Instagram Live
sessions and more.
Field in-bound media inquiries
Write media kit materials inclusive of press releases and fact sheets
Write byline content on behalf of executive leadership and agents
Assist Copywriter on an as-needed basis in the creation of materials including
blogs and listing copy
Assist the Public Relations Director in preparing and submitting awards
submissions on behalf of the firm, executives, and agents
Participate in agent training sessions
Complete organizational tasks including, but not limited to:
o Record media hits to Connect and master media placement document
o Update master public relations initiatives document
o Compile/update media reports
o Editorial calendar research
o Maintain subscriptions
o Media list building and updating
o Complete research projects
Bachelor’s degree in English/public relations/communications
3 plus years’ experience in public relations (real estate , or luxury brands industry experience required)
Proven track record of success in securing feature stories/business profiles for
clients and extensive relationships with real estate/business journalists
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects and be a team player
Strong customer service and client management experience
Exceptional writing, research and organizational skills
Able to effectively work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced,
results-driven environment
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and able to
effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
Valid Drivers’ License and passport
Travel as agreed with manager
If any after-hours work (nights and weekends) is required, time in lieu will be
approved by manager
