Job Description:
The Sales & Customer Support Representative will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales process, and closing deals along with cultivating and maintaining a positive customer experience. This role will involve building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how our eco-literacy curriculum can meet those needs. This SR will be responsible for managing subsequent incoming customer requests via chat and email, ensuring swift and effective responses to all inquiries. This role requires excellent communication skills, the learning of the product in a deep manner allowing the delivery of value propositions in a clear and inspiring way and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify potential leads and opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead generation.
Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and social media to understand their needs and show how our curriculum can meet them.
Conduct outreach to potential customers, introduce our curriculum, and manage the complete sales process from initiation to closure. (100+ calls per day goal)
Be available for inbound calls, emails, text and chat
Deliver value props accurately and know enough about the program to inspire confidence.
Maintain detailed and accurate notes on prospect interactions in our CRM system.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize the sales process and the customer experience.
Attend sales meetings, educational events, and training sessions to stay informed about our curriculum and improve sales techniques.
Requirements:
Passionate about environmental sustainability, mindfulness, and education.
At least a year of professional experience in direct sales or customer-facing, preferably in the educational field.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
MS Office proficiency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Promptly respond to all customer inquiries via chat and email within specified response times: within 3 minutes during work hours of 8AM-5PM MST, and by the next business day for after-hours messages.
A flexible schedule is required as there may be changes in working hours.
Provide accurate and complete information to customers by utilizing the right methods/tools.
Manage customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution.
Develop a deep understanding of our nature-based, eco-literacy, mindfulness-infused curriculum to effectively support and guide our customers.
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
Compensation:
The base compensation ranges from $800 to $1000, but candidates have the potential for higher earnings up to $1,500 based on their performance.
