The company is building the leading commerce platform focused on the alcohol industry. Our mission is to make commerce simpler for highly regulated products. We’re a technical team tackling large challenges in a $200B+ industry. We’ve already helped beverage brands, large and small, leverage a direct-to-consumer experience to accelerate their launches and quickly introduce new products, and will be building more to service them.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline issues.
Integrate and stitch together datasets from diverse sources such as BigQuery, Shopify, WooCommerce, and our database for comprehensive reporting.
Leverage advanced SQL skills to manage, manipulate, and interpret complex datasets.
Utilize Looker and Retool for the creation and maintenance of self-service reports and automated dashboards.
Proactively identify opportunities for and execute improvements in reporting functions, architecture, and data flows.
Work with business teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver clear, well-structured, and insightful reports to support business decisions.
Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and analytics practices to ensure our company continues leading in data-driven decisions and strategies.
A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in tech startups.
Solid experience developing SQL queries and developing models using DBT
Proven experience in using data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.
Experience working with Google BigQuery, Shopify, WooCommerce, and similar platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
