Overview:

As an FP&A and Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in building and strengthening our financial planning and analysis capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be forecasting the profit and loss (P&L) and cash burn for the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating monthly reports for our brands and retailers, closing the books each month in collaboration with the Accounting team, managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), overseeing the monthly invoicing process, and resolving issues from our customers and partners through the accounting inbox. Furthermore, you will perform ad hoc analysis across the company to support sustainable business growth. A key aspect of this role will involve being hands-on, learning SQL, diving into reporting, and developing enhanced processes.

Responsibilities:

• Build FP&A capabilities and forecast P&L and cash burn.

• Create monthly reports for Brands and Retailers.

• Collaborate with the Accounting team to close books each month.

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Oversee the monthly invoicing process.

• Handle the accounting inbox and resolve issues from customers and partners.

• Perform ad hoc analysis across the company to facilitate sustainable business growth.

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn SQL, delve into reporting, and establish improved processes.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of FP&A and accounting experience.

• Proficient in Excel and Quickbooks

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

• Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment where new products and processes are continuously evolving.

• SQL and financial modeling are really nice to have.
