We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operations by entering invoices, managing inventory, and generating reports. If you have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working with data and reports, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our inventory management and operational efficiency.
Assist in managing inventory control activities, including receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming products.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices and purchase orders into the inventory management system.
Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate stock levels.
Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies or issues.
Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, usage, and turnover, to support decision-making and optimize inventory management.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, including stock accuracy, order fulfillment, and aging inventory.
Provide general administrative assistance related to inventory control, such as maintaining records, organizing files, and ensuring data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth inventory operations.
Assist in implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures and best practices.
Accounting Degree
Previous experience in inventory control, operations support, or related roles is preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data and generate accurate reports.
Detail-oriented mindset and a focus on maintaining accurate and organized records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive inventory and financial information.
