Staff/Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting support and will
record daily and monthly transactional activity.
Keeping track of company finances, preparing and monitoring budgets, managing
payroll and projects.
Working with financial statements, a degree in finance or accounting is required.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Performing accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments
and inventory control
Month end and quarterly closing (e.g., manage balance sheets, income statements and
cash flow statements)
Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and investment transactions in
conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management.
Participating in the proposal process for prospective clients.
Assisting in developing, building, and managing professional client relationships.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
Minimum 1 year of tax experience
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the general
accepted accounting principles
Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
AA - BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant degree (preferred=)
EA License (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
