As the Bookkeeper it is your responsibility to handle all financial aspects of the
business operations. We are looking for a self-starting, critical thinker, who is excited to learn,
and help grown the business. Candidate must have 3 plus years of bookkeeping experience,
strong computer skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The bookkeeper position creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information
The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting
journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers,
cash receipts, and supplier/vendor invoices
Process payroll and handle tax payments.
Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
Conduct a monthly or weekly reconciliation of every bank account. Conduct periodic
reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company's financial statements
Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
Accounts Payable for each location inluding working with vendors
Accounts receivable for each location including working with vendors
Payroll experience - 3 YOE
Bookkeeping experience in the restaurant industry - 5 YOE
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality
Must be proficient in handling office equipment including multiple lined telephones,
printers, photocopy machines, etc.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks.
Must have knowledge of accounting principles i.e. journal entries, general ledger, etc.
