We’re Looking For a Rare Combination in a Founding Designer: Detail-Oriented + Loves Taking Risks. Don’t be intimidated if you don’t have a college degree - we’re looking for a designer with empathy and taste to work in a collaborative, remote, self-motivating, fast-moving, and experimental tea
You’ll be our founding designer. You should want to be responsible for design, now and for as long as possible. You’ll work directly with the CEO to build the design future of our product and our company. He can be abstract and philosophical, but highly committed and collaborative. You’ll need to love turning abstract chaos into concrete detail. You’ll be generating creative ideas with our brilliant team, working with the CEO, and turning them into designs that our ace developer team can use to help people create perfect memories of their families and legacy.
You’ll be using Figma.
You’ll crank out design ideas, move fast, and ruthlessly iterate.
We’ll collaborate.
We’ll experiment.
You should feel free to be wild sometimes - some of your designs should be “Whoa this is too wild”. If you’re not making crazy mockups (without being attached to them), you’re not thinking crazy enough.
Flexibility, ambitiousness, initiative, curiosity, and excellent design taste.
4+ years of experience working solo on design projects.
Start-up experience.
Laptop and stable Wi-Fi connection to work remotely.
UX/UI experience
Brand design skills
