Job Description

An opportunity exists for a Jr. Product Owner in a dynamic wine & spirits importing operation. The purpose of the position is to be a collaborative team member of the Product Development team and be responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.

This position reports to the Head of Product Development.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business Leaders & Executive Management team to drive and implement our  mission Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for the digital service offerings 
• Work closely with Client Development, Client Services, Accounting & Finance, Compliance,
• SME’s and directly with users to understand business requirements in detail
• Gather and translate user business needs into technical product requirements in collaboration with the product team
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design & QA teams to create enjoyable user experiences with a customer-centric approach
• Support prioritization of product development pipeline  
• Work with cross-product teams to resolve vital business needs
• Spearhead, and deliver release & rollout plans keeping within budget and time targets 
• Elicit input from stakeholders and drive a collaborative product experience
• Create, monitor and analyze metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase)
• Create and deliver presentations and demos at internal and external events as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar roles
• A self-starter and natural leader with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Deep curiosity with the desire to learn and think outside the box
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently and collaborate with stakeholders
• Organized, and in-depth knowledge of preparing product documentation
• In-depth knowledge of current our service offerings and client needs
