As a Healthcare Recruiter specializing in RNs and LPNs, you will play a vital role in sourcing, screening, and selecting highly skilled nursing professionals for placement in healthcare facilities. Your expertise and dedication to finding the right candidates will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients. This position requires an outgoing personality, effective communication skills, and a proven track record in recruitment.
Talent Acquisition:
Identify, source, and recruit qualified RNs and LPNs through various channels, including online job boards, social media, nursing schools, and professional networks.
Collaborate with hiring managers and healthcare facility administrators to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
Candidate Screening and Selection:
Conduct in-depth interviews and screenings of potential candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and compatibility with specific nursing positions.
Verify professional credentials, licensure, and certifications of candidates.
Perform reference checks and background screenings to ensure candidate reliability and suitability for healthcare environments.
Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with nursing professionals, nursing schools, and other industry stakeholders to build a robust network of qualified candidates.
Provide exceptional candidate experience by serving as a knowledgeable point of contact, addressing inquiries, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.
Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, onboarding, and scheduling, to ensure seamless candidate transitions and successful placements.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, nursing licensure requirements, and healthcare regulations to effectively assess market demand and make informed recruitment decisions.
Analyze recruitment data, including source effectiveness, time-to-fill, and retention rates, to optimize recruitment strategies and improve overall candidate quality.
3+ years of experience sourcing and recruiting candidates in a highly skilled industry (healthcare preferred, but experience in recruiting for tech, accounting, creative, etc. is also highly valued).
Experience as a Healthcare Recruiter (preferably specializing in RNs and LPNs) is a plus.
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and remote work is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with people.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
