What to Expect:

The Assistan Project Manager will be a key support to the project managers/site superintendents in completing residential construction projects (condos and single family homes) on time and within budget. They will focus on technical and administrative tasks that aid in moving the current projects forward. With us being a boutique development and construction firm, all employees wear multiple hats and provide support where necessary. What You'll Do:

• Support the project manager with coordinating construction activities and schedule with field operations and subcontractors.
• Assist with the subcontractor bid process.
• Support the project manager with city building requirement reviews and permit submissions.
• Complete material take-offs.
• Aid in developing contracts and forms.
• Participate in design reviews, lessons learned, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist the project manager in the creation and updates to the project schedule, budgets, and other project-related tasks.
• Engage with utility companies to disconnect and reconnect utilities to projects.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a project coordinator, assistant project manager, or similar supporting role.
• Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Can learn quickly and embrace new and creative ways to salve problems
• Self-starter who is results oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious and takes initiative.
• Have a joyful approach to work and life, a sense of humor highly recommended
• Can communicate professionally and proactively to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to call US phone numbers.
• Comfortable with technology, including Google drive, Google Sheets, Google Documents, Smartsheets, and more.
• Preferred: Prior residential construction experience and understanding of residential construction
