DESCRIPTION

• Analyze and underwrite investment opportunities relating to outdoor hospitality sector across a broad range of geographies and capitalization level

• Prepare analysis and conclusions to partnership on specific assets in the pipeline

• Compile and provide research including economic indicators, operating data, market trends, and other applicable information supporting thesis for both internal and investor-facing purposes

• Assist in the sourcing of investment opportunities through a range of stakeholders including brokers, lenders, and legacy owners 

• Source and negotiate debt for all phases of deal cycle (bridge, construction, perm)

• Support transaction process including PSA negotiation, 3rd party coordination, diligence review, and other ad hoc items that may arise

• Support asset management through monthly and quarterly reporting ensuring thesis is being executed or strategize how approach may change to deliver on investment performance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three to seven years of experience in real estate investment management, development, private equity, or investment banking; exposure to hospitality asset class a must

• Export Microsoft Excel modeling skills – must be able to build acquisition/asset management model tailored to outdoor hospitality acquisition

• Strong writing and exceptional interpersonal communication skills – ability to articulate complex financial assumptions simply to broad range of interested parties

• Expertise with a range of debt structures supporting investment criteria

• Calculating attention to detail

• Ability to work productively in autonomous and entrepreneurial environment; don’t need strong detailed direction to produce what is asked of

• Desire to travel to potential acquisitions
