Our SaaS product is used by leading fashion brands, tech unicorns and film studios, helping them all move away from a mishmash of spreadsheets and disparate tools, to a single unified workflow.

The role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to lead the work on our core SaaS product. You’ll primarily be responsible for creating and updating services and endpoints, implementing business logic and ensuring the security and performance of the platform. You'll be comfortable offering your opinions on how an approach could be improved and identifying edge-cases that haven't been taken into account. You will have good understanding of architectural best practices and make recommendations on tools and technologies that could help us be more productive. This role is right for you if you’re a senior Go engineer, looking to lead the development of a SaaS product within a start-up environment, and comfortable taking on a large and relatively complex codebase.

Backend: Golang, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Prometheum, Grafana, Traefik, Meilisearch

Transport: gRPC, REST

Infrastructure: Pulumi, Docker Swarm, Circle CI, AWS / Azure

Key Requirements

• You have a proven track record architecting and delivering SaaS products using Go
• You're excited by working with large, complex systems and have a solid understanding of the infrastructure required to run modern-day enterprise SaaS applications.
• You have in-depth experience with SQL
• You have experience with our key technologies: Meilisearch. RabbitMQ, gRPC etc, or similar
• You are passionate about code quality and have a thorough understanding of software development concepts that promote readability, maintainability, and testability
• You are comfortable working with Docker
• You are available to be online and working for at least 3 hours between 9am and 5:30pm GMT
• You are comfortable and productive working remotely

• You enjoy building high performance, scalable services using protocol buffers / gPRC
