The Opportunity
What You’ll Do:
Production Planning & Management
- Collaborate with Data Op’s and Product team to provide insights and input that will support our demand plan and procurement. Own the following data sets
- Timing and Action: Own the production timeline and execution from PO placement through CRD, working with merchandising and marketing on launch date planning, communicate any delays or delivery risk cross functionally in GTM touch base meetings.
- PO’s and invoicing: Place PO’s based on demand plan purchasing plans, ensure vendors deliver on time and work with AP to approve invoices, manage payment terms and ensure on-time delivery.
- Product Data: Own product data related to bulk manufacturing, MOQ, Lead-time, Product dimensions, weights, Carton dimensions, Carton weights, cartons per pallet, HTS related information etc.
- Costing: Responsible for finished goods, textiles and raw material costing based on order volumes, confirming and negotiating with suppliers when necessary.
- Raw material constraints: lead time, OH qty, MOQ, shrinkage, defect rate
- Supplier capabilities: lead times by products, lead-time compression opportunities, shrinkage, defect rate, line-dedication, uptime/downtime, staffing etc.
- Capacity: Build dashboard that clearly summarizes each supplier/vendor node capabilities, constraints and KPI’s
- Activity Management: Develop a Product Dashboard that clearly communicates status and timeline for all activities in production
- Relationship: Set meetings with critical points of contact to review performance status and horizon reviews
- Present the dashboard regularly to internal stakeholders
Vendor Quality Management
- Collaborate with the Product team to define the SKU specific goals for each node in the supply chain that the product comes in contact with. Document all requirements and communicate them to the suppliers/vendors holding them accountable to the outcomes
- Develop a supplier performance dashboard that monitors quality and OTIF status regularly updated with fresh data
- Responsible for all product quality 3rd party testing reports, reporting on failures and providing recommendations on how to improve.
- Responsible for compliance testing by region ensuring all products are legally compliant.
- Implement in house QC standards for 3PL including guidelines for pass and fail, provide guidance on how to manage failed inventory (physical product management, replacement inventory plans, financial restitution, communication on resolutions internally and with suppliers)
- Set meetings with critical points of contact to review performance and status
- Present the dashboard regularly to internal stakeholders
- Communicate between points of contact at each vendor and concisely communicate all logistics requirements
- Oversee the onboarding of suppliers to our Freight Forwarding platform where shipments and documentation can be submitted to you for review
Impact, Compliance & Certifications
- Ensures all vendors, products, trade partners and certifying bodies are upholding our social and environmental compliance requirements.
- Ensure Oeko-Tex certificates are secured for all product lines for all vendors
- Oversee and manage the enforcement of our compliance requirements with all suppliers in the supply chain, working on corrective action plans where necessary and flagging any major issues that require new vendor sourcing.
- Manage 3rd party compliance inspections of suppliers coordinating the evaluations and reporting on the findings.
- Implement tracking system for full traceability of supply chain from seed to finished good.
- Responsible for researching, vetting and presenting data related to new certifications as requested as well as securing those certifications that are selected to proceed.

- 5+ years direct production and vendor facing experience in soft goods and or apparel
- Proficient in cross-border logistics and international shipments
- Excellent in excel/google sheets and time management software

The Consultant may be required to take annual leave during a shutdown period, such as the winter holidays period. At the Company’s discretion, if the Consultant has not accrued sufficient annual leave to cover the shutdown period, the Consultant may take unpaid leave or paid annual leave in advance.
